Aquí os dejo mi último vídeo. Se trata de un anuncio comercial de Oikos, una potente “consola comunitaria”. Por supuesto que mi interés al colgar este clip no está en dar publicidad a esta compañía, sino en aclararme a mí mismo y los que lo vean cuál es la diferencia entre Web 1.0 y Web 2.0, algo en lo que los usuarios de blogs ya estamos metidos sin darnos cuenta (al menos, yo no tenía ni idea). Aunque el vídeo está en inglés, le he puesto subtítulos en español usando Overstream. Echadle un vistazo, apenas dura 2 minutitos, y luego me dejáis vuestras impresiones en forma de comentarios.
Hoy os anuncio que iré recopilando vídeos relacionados con la enseñanza a distancia. También, cómo no, habrá una sección para la enseñanza del inglés. Los podréis ir encontrando en la parte inferior del blog, así que toca mover la barra hasta abajo. Como muetra, un botón: un clip gracioso que nos llega desde Argentina, y que tiene como título “Universidad virtual”. Espero que os guste.

Con este nuevo artículo quiero animar a todos los que lean este blog a apoyar la causa social que aquí se propone. Social Vibe ha creado una estupenda iniciativa, que consiste en conectar miembros de redes sociales, como tú y como yo, con empresas multinacionales famosas, para apoyar la labor de destacadas ONGs.
Así es como funciona en mi caso: Body Glove, la empresa surfera originaria de Missouri, USA, es el sponsor que elegí para que ayude económicamente en la causa de Direct Relief International, ONG que yo también he seleccionado para el Social Vibe de mi blog. Cada vez que pinchamos sobre el widget o aplicación (ver la foto en este artículo) que se encuentra en la columna de la derecha, se abrirá una ventanita en la que se nos pedirá que veamos un vídeo “refrescante” de la marca de bañadores ya referida. Al acabar, simplemente habrá que puntuarlo según nuestro gusto (yo le di todas las estrellas, claro), y enviar nuestra puntuación.
Cada vez que un lector siga los pasos que acabo de explicar, habremos obtenido 5 miligramos de medicamentos ARV para pacientes de VIH/SIDA en Kenia.
Ya ven, queridos lectores, no cuesta nada ayudar. Apoyen mi causa, que es la de todos en realidad. Ojalá podamos lograr miles de dosis lo más pronto posible. With this new post I want to encourage all those who read this blog to support the social cause that here is proposed. Social Vibehas come up with a marvellous initiative, which consists of connecting members of social networks, like you and as me, with famous companies to support the work of outstanding non-profit organizations.
Here is how it works in my case: Body Glove, the watersports brand originally from Missouri, is the sponsor that I chose to economically help Direct Relief International in its cause, the non-profit I also selected for the Social Vibe in my blog. Each time a reader clicks on the corresponding widget (see the pic in this post) it can be found in the right column of this blog, a window will pop up asking the reader to watch a cool video of swimsuits. When finished, all we need to do is to rate the clip (of course, I gave it all the stars) and submit our rating.
Each time a reader follows these simple steps the blog will obtain 5 milligrams of ARV drugs for patients of HIV/AIDS in Kenya. As you can see, it is not difficult to help this way. Please support my cause. I’d love we could all help to provide with thousands of doses through my blog. Also, leave here your comments on the brilliant idea of SV, the clip of BG, or to propose other similar initiatives in which you are already embarked. Saludos cordiales a todos los que lean este blog que hoy viernes, 18 de septiembre de 2009, nace en Medellín, Colombia.
Usaremos este blog para el aprendizaje del inglés fundamentalmente. Los estudiantes que se asomen a este espacio podrán beneficiarse tanto de sus contenidos pedagógicos como de las herramientas de e-learning que vayamos incorporando paulatinamente.
Por el momento estaré trabajando en la creación de dichos materiales. Cuando los tenga sistematizados lo anunciaré en esta sección del blog.
